Nowadays, the Social sites, have a lot of users, and they are used to share information, pictures, videos, etc. At present, the most popular are: Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram and Twitter. Now I am going to show you the characteristics of each social sites.

Facebook: Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg (2004-2005) in the Unites States. Nowadays it has 1650 million users monthly and it is the social sites with more users in the world.

Whatsapp: Whatsapp is a messenger app only for smartphones. It was founded on february 24, 2009; (7 years ago). Nowadays, it is property of facebook and is the messenger app with more users.

Instagram: Instagram is a social site that is used to publish photos or videos. It was founded on October 6, 2010; 6 years ago by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. Currently, Instagram has 500 million users weekly and 300 million every day.

Twitter: Twitter is a social site that they use to publish photos, videos or short message. It was founded on March 21, 2006;10 years ago by Jack dorsey, Noah Glash, Biz Stone and Evan Williams. Nowadays, has 313 million users.

Now, I am going to show you the advantages and the disadvantages of these social sites:

ADVANTAGES:

First, you can communicate with everyone that you know using social sites like: Whatsapp messenger and Facebook, also, you can get information easier with sites like: Blogger and Wikipedia. Finally, it can be an interesting pastime, because, you can do a lot of things like: Read an interesting post in blogger, watch entertaining videos on Youtube or see funny memes on Instagram.

DISADVANTAGES:

First of all, They can manipulate the pictures that you publish if you don't have appropiate security settings assured, also, you can waste a lot of time if you don't control the time, and finally, It can be addictive.

But, wait a moment, do you know what is cyberbullying? If you don't know, I am going to explain it now

Cyberbullying is when children or teenagers use the web, or mobile phones or any other technology to threaten, tease or embarrass another young person.Nasty messages are just one form of cyberbullying. It can also include things like emailing someone a virus on purpose, posting personal information where it shouldn't be or calling them names when playing a game together online.

So, my conclusion is that the social sites are good and bad at the same time.
